Reishi Mushroom Tea

A soothing tea made with reishi mushrooms that promotes relaxation and balance.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon dried reishi mushroom slices (or 1/2 teaspoon powder)
  • 2.5 cups filtered water
  • Honey (optional)
  • Cinnamon stick (optional)
  • Thin ginger slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Measure about 1 tablespoon of dried reishi mushroom slices (or use 1/2 teaspoon of powder).
  2. Add to a small pot with 2.5 cups of water.
  3. Bring to a low simmer and let it roll for 30 to 40 minutes.
  4. Strain out the mushrooms (or powder) and pour the liquid into a mug.
  5. Add honey, cinnamon, or ginger if desired.

Notes

Let the tea steep longer for a punchier flavor. Don’t use too much reishi to avoid bitterness.
