Marshmallow Root Soothing Tea

A comforting herbal tea made with marshmallow root that calms nerves and soothes the throat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon dried marshmallow root
  • 1 ½ cups filtered water
  • Honey, maple syrup, or any other gentle sweetener (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the marshmallow root into your favorite mug or a teapot.
  2. Pour in freshly boiled but slightly cooled water and let it steep for 10–15 minutes.
  3. Strain out the root bits using a fine strainer.
  4. Add honey if desired and sip slowly.

Notes

For variations, consider adding a cinnamon stick, fresh ginger, or lemon slices during steeping.
