Slow Cooker Grinch Hot Chocolate

A festive and creamy hot chocolate inspired by the Grinch, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces package of white chocolate chips (reserving 1/4 cup for rim)
  • 14 ounces can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 6 cups milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • Green gel food coloring
  • Mini marshmallows (for garnish)
  • Can of whipped topping (for garnish)
  • Sprinkles (for garnish)
  • Candy heart (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Set the Slow Cooker on low heat.
  2. Pour in 6 cups of milk.
  3. Add the entire can of sweetened condensed milk.
  4. Add 2 cups of heavy cream.
  5. Stir in 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract.
  6. Toss in 12 ounces of white chocolate chips, reserving 1/4 cup.
  7. Cook for 1 to 1.5 hours, stirring frequently.
  8. Add green gel food coloring to achieve desired shade.
  9. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt reserved 1/4 cup of white chocolate chips with 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil.
  10. Dip mug rims into melted chocolate, then coat with sprinkles.
  11. Ladle hot chocolate into mugs, and top with garnishes.
  12. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
