Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate

A rich and creamy hot chocolate made effortlessly in a slow cooker, perfect for family gatherings or cozy evenings.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet baking bar, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Your favorite toppings (like marshmallows, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, or crushed candy canes)

Instructions

  1. Pour half of the heavy cream into the slow cooker.
  2. Add the unsweetened cocoa powder to the heavy cream and whisk until well combined.
  3. Pour in the remaining heavy cream, whole milk, sweetened condensed milk, chopped chocolate, and vanilla extract. Stir well to combine.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and set it on low for 3 hours, stirring every 20 minutes.
  5. After 3 hours, if the hot chocolate is too thick, stir in a little more milk.
  6. Keep warm and serve topped with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Store any leftover hot chocolate in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
