Slow Cooker Pumpkin Hot Chocolate

A warm and creamy slow cooker drink that combines rich chocolate and pumpkin flavors, perfect for chilly days.

  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 15 ounces pumpkin puree
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • Mini marshmallows (for garnish, optional)
  • Whipped cream (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a 6-quart slow cooker, add whole milk, heavy whipping cream, pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, semi-sweet chocolate chips, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon. Whisk well until ingredients are incorporated.
  2. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 120 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Once the chocolate has melted and hot chocolate is smooth, remove the lid and either turn off the slow cooker or set it to WARM, stirring occasionally.
  4. Serve as desired with mini marshmallows and whipped cream as garnish.

Notes

For a special touch, sprinkle cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice on top of whipped cream.
