Smoked Paprika Pineapple Mocktail

A bold and refreshing non-alcoholic drink combining sweet pineapple with smoky paprika, lime, and a splash of sparkle for an unexpectedly sophisticated flavor experience.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz pineapple juice
  • ½ oz fresh lime juice
  • ¼ tsp sweet smoked paprika
  • ½ oz agave nectar or simple syrup (optional)
  • Sparkling water to top
  • Ice
  • Pineapple wedge and extra smoked paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut a fresh pineapple wedge for garnish and lightly dust one side with smoked paprika.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine pineapple juice, lime juice, smoked paprika, and sweetener if using.
  3. Add plenty of ice and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well chilled and slightly cloudy.
  4. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
  5. Top with a splash of sparkling water.
  6. Garnish with the paprika-dusted pineapple wedge and a tiny sprinkle of paprika on top.

Notes

Use high-quality sweet smoked paprika (pimentón dulce) for best results. Always taste your pineapple juice before adding sweetener, and shake thoroughly to fully incorporate the paprika.
