Spiced Pear Tea Fizz

A delightful drink combining tea and the sweetness of pears with a fizzy touch from ginger beer or club soda.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 gallon Milo’s Unsweet Tea
  • 3 medium pears (washed, cored, and chopped)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 whole cloves (optional)
  • Ginger beer or club soda

Instructions

  2. Pour in about 1 cup of the Milo’s Unsweet Tea to the saucepan.

  4. Allow the tea mixture to steep for about 20 minutes.
  5. Strain the pears and spices out of the sweetened tea.
  6. Pour the sweetened tea back into the gallon jug with the rest of the Milo’s Unsweet Tea. Shake well to combine.
  7. Fill glasses with ice, pour the pear spiced tea about 3/4 full in each glass.
  8. Top off each glass with ginger beer or club soda. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Serve garnished with a slice of pear or a cinnamon stick. For a warm version, heat the tea mixture without the fizz.
