  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Hoagie rolls
  • Pickles
  • Lettuce
  • Mayo

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken in buttermilk in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  2. Prepare the Coating by mixing flour, cayenne, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the Chicken with the flour mixture after marinating.
  4. Heat Oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Fry the Chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Drain the Chicken on paper towels.
  7. Assemble the Hoagies with fried chicken, mayo, pickles, and lettuce.

Notes

For added crunch, consider topping with sliced jalapeños or additional pickles.
