Spicy Paloma

A refreshing cocktail that combines grapefruit and jalapeño for a flavorful kick.

Ingredients

  • Salt (for rim of glass)
  • 1 slice fresh grapefruit
  • 5 slices fresh jalapeño
  • 2 ounces tequila blanco
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 1/4 ounce grapefruit juice (ruby red grapefruit recommended)
  • 3/4 ounce jalapeño syrup
  • 2 ounces seltzer
  • 3 ounces Grapefruit Jalapeño mixer (or Grapefruit Soda, if preferred)

Instructions

  1. Prep your serving glass by wetting the rim with a cut lime or grapefruit and dipping it into the salt.
  2. Fill the glass with ice, add tequila, lime juice, grapefruit juice, and jalapeño syrup. Stir and add jalapeño slices, then top with seltzer. Garnish with grapefruit slice.
  3. Muddle jalapeño slices in the glass, add ice and tequila, then top with soda or mixer. Stir, add additional lime juice if using plain soda, and garnish with jalapeño slices and grapefruit slice.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, can be stored for one day in the refrigerator if any mix is leftover.
