Spinach & Feta Pinwheels

Delightful snack or appetizer made from flaky puff pastry wrapped around a savory mixture of spinach, cream cheese, feta, and mozzarella.

  • 1 package Sweet Loren’s Puff Pastry Dough
  • 4 oz. cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella
  • ⅓ cup crumbled feta
  • 4 oz. frozen chopped spinach (thawed and squeezed dry)
  • ½ tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, crumbled feta, thawed chopped spinach, and dried oregano. Mix until creamy and well combined.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a clean surface. Spread the spinach and cheese mixture evenly over the surface of the puff pastry.
  3. Roll the puff pastry up lengthwise into a log and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
  4. Preheat the oven to 425°F. Unwrap the puff pastry log and cut it into ½ inch thick slices.
  5. Place pinwheel slices on a baking sheet, spaced 1 inch apart. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Can be served warm or at room temperature. Enjoy with dipping sauces like yogurt or marinara.
