Spring M&M Cookies

Bright and fun Spring M&M Cookies that pair classic chocolate chips with pastel M&Ms, perfect for family events and a quick dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup pastel M&Ms
  • M&M bunny decorations (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour and baking soda in a small bowl; set aside.
  3. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time until well blended.
  5. Blend in the flour mixture gradually until combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips and pastel M&Ms.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Decorate with M&M bunny decorations if desired.
