Strawberry Banana Elf Smoothie

A delightful and healthy smoothie made with strawberries and bananas, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 cup water or orange juice
  • 1 tsp honey or sweetener (optional)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Make the Strawberry Layer: Blend the strawberries, water or orange juice, and sweetener until smooth. Pour this mixture into the bottom of a tall glass.
  2. Make the Banana Layer: Rinse the blender, then blend the banana, milk, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  3. Layer the Smoothie: Gently pour the banana layer over the strawberry layer to create a festive red-and-white effect.
  4. Garnish: Add a small strawberry or a sprinkle of holiday-colored sprinkles on top for a playful touch.

Notes

For a green layer, add spinach. This smoothie can be frozen in ice cube trays for future blends.
