  • 46 oz sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh strawberry slice and basil sprig, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Make the shrub: In a bowl, combine chopped strawberries and sugar. Muddle gently and let sit 1 hour.
  2. Add fresh basil and apple cider vinegar. Stir to combine. Cover and refrigerate for 2–3 days, stirring daily.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer. Store the liquid in a sealed jar in the refrigerator.
  4. Assemble each drink: Fill a glass with ice. Add 2 oz shrub and top with 4–6 oz sparkling water. Stir gently.
  5. Garnish with fresh strawberry and basil sprig. Serve immediately.
