Strawberry Matcha Latte

A beautifully layered drink that combines the earthy richness of matcha with the sweet, fruity essence of strawberries. Refreshing, antioxidant-rich, and easy to make at home!

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder (ceremonial grade for best flavor)
  • 2 oz hot water
  • 1 teaspoon liquid sweetener (agave nectar, honey, or simple syrup)
  • 5 oz milk (oat milk, almond milk, or dairy milk)
  • Ice
  • 23 medium strawberries (fresh or thawed frozen)
  • 2 oz heavy cream
  • 1 oz milk
  • 1 teaspoon sweetener (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sift the matcha powder into a bowl to remove clumps.
  2. Add hot water and whisk vigorously using a bamboo whisk or milk frother until foamy.
  3. Stir in the sweetener while the matcha is still warm.
  4. Fill a tall glass ¾ full with ice and pour in the milk of your choice.
  5. Slowly pour the whisked matcha over the ice and stir gently.
  6. In a blender, combine strawberries, heavy cream, milk, sweetener, and vanilla extract.
  7. Blend for 5-10 seconds until smooth.
  8. Pour the strawberry sweet cream on top of the matcha latte.
  9. Gently stir to create a beautiful gradient effect.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a warm version, heat the milk before mixing. Oat milk enhances both the strawberry and matcha flavors.
