Strawberry Pink Peppercorn Jam

A unique twist on traditional jam, combining the sweetness of fresh strawberries with the spicy kick of pink peppercorns for a delightful flavor experience.

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp whole pink peppercorns

Instructions

  1. Combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a pot. Clean and hull the strawberries, then cut them into smaller pieces if desired.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring gently until the sugar dissolves and the strawberries release their juices.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often, until thickened.
  4. Stir in the pink peppercorns after removing the jam from heat.
  5. Pour the hot jam into a jar and allow it to cool to room temperature.

Notes

Store the jam in the refrigerator for several weeks, or freeze it in a freezer-safe container for up to a year.
