Sweet Moroccan Mint Tea

A delightful blend of strong green tea, fresh mint, and sweeteners, capturing the essence of Moroccan hospitality.

  • 1 cup strongly brewed green tea
  • Mint sprigs
  • Sugar or honey to taste

Instructions

  1. Brew a strong cup of green tea by steeping one teaspoon of tea leaves or a tea bag for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar or honey to the hot tea and stir until dissolved. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  3. Place fresh mint sprigs in a cup or glass. Optionally bruise the leaves to release flavor.
  4. Pour the hot sweetened tea over the mint sprigs and let it sit for a minute for infusion.
  5. For iced tea, chill brewed tea in the refrigerator and serve it over ice, garnished with fresh mint.
