Spicy Grapefruit Mocktail

A refreshing and zesty mocktail featuring fresh grapefruit, a kick of jalapeño, and aromatic rosemary, perfect for hot summer days and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 large grapefruit, freshly squeezed
  • A sprig of fresh rosemary
  • 1 small jalapeño, sliced
  • 12 tablespoons honey or agave
  • Sparkling water (lime-flavored or unflavored)
  • Plenty of ice
  • Optional: coarse salt for the rim, extra rosemary sprig for garnish

Instructions

  1. Squeeze the grapefruit into a pitcher, avoiding seeds.
  2. Add jalapeño slices and rosemary, muddle together to combine flavors.
  3. Stir in honey or agave until dissolved.
  4. Add ice to individual glasses.
  5. Pour the grapefruit mixture halfway into the glasses, then top with sparkling water.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness or heat as desired.
  7. Optional: run a grapefruit wedge around the rim and dip in salt.
  8. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and jalapeño round. Enjoy!

Notes

Customize with different herbs or sweeteners as preferred. Can be made ahead of time; just add sparkling water before serving.
