Ashwagandha Moon Milk

A soothing drink made with ashwagandha and warm spices, perfect for winding down at night.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ashwagandha powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 12 teaspoons honey or maple syrup
  • Pinch of ground ginger or cardamom

Instructions

  1. Pour 1 cup of milk into a small saucepan and warm it over low to medium heat (do not let it boil).
  2. Add the ashwagandha powder, ground cinnamon, and turmeric. Stir vigorously.
  3. Whisk in honey or syrup and a pinch of ginger.
  4. Keep stirring until it’s steamy and well-blended, then remove from heat.
  5. Taste and add more honey if desired.
  6. Pour into your favorite mug and sprinkle with extra cinnamon if desired.
  7. Sip slowly to enjoy all the flavors.

Notes

For a creamier texture, consider using oat or cashew milk. You can also add a splash of vanilla extract or rose water for extra flavor.
