Valentine’s Rolls with Strawberries

Delicious and fluffy rolls filled with fresh strawberries, perfect for celebrating Valentine’s Day.

  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fold in the strawberries gently.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead a few times.
  7. Roll out to a rectangle and cut into strips. Roll each strip into a swirl.
  8. Place on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Serve warm for the best experience. Consider drizzling with melted chocolate or serving with whipped cream.
