Caramelized Apple Cinnamon Latte

A cozy latte that combines caramelized apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon for a warm, creamy treat perfect for fall mornings.

  • ½ small fresh apple, diced
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp caramel sauce
  • 12 shots espresso or strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup milk of choice (½ cup for iced)
  • Whipped cream to top
  • Optional: Extra cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine diced apple, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Heat on medium until apples are soft, about 4 minutes.
  2. Add caramel sauce and stir until melted.
  3. Pour in hot espresso or coffee, then add milk and warm until steamy (do not boil).
  4. Blend if desired or strain for a smoother texture, then pour into a mug.
  5. Top with whipped cream and drizzle with caramel sauce.
  6. For iced version, cool the apple mixture, pour over ice in a glass, add cooled espresso, and milk. Top with whipped cream and caramel.

Notes

You can customize the milk type and adjust the spice level to taste. Try making ‘coffee cubes’ with leftover coffee for the iced version to avoid dilution.
