Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine milk and heavy cream over medium heat. Warm until steaming but not boiling, stirring occasionally.
  2. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the white chocolate, whisking constantly until melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in the peppermint extract and blue food coloring until the cocoa has a frosty blue hue. Adjust the sweetness with sugar if needed.
  4. Pour the cocoa into mugs. Top with a generous swirl of whipped cream.
  5. Dust with blue edible shimmer or glitter for a frosty, sparkling finish. Sprinkle crushed candy canes or white chocolate shavings on top for extra festive flair.
