Winter Maple Mojito

A refreshing cocktail combining maple syrup, mint, and lime, perfect for winter gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. Rum
  • 0.75 oz. Lime juice
  • 0.75 oz. Mint simple syrup
  • 0.25 oz. Baird Farm Mint Infused Vermont Maple Syrup
  • 2 dashes Fee Brothers Mint Bitters
  • Club soda or seltzer splash

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mint simple syrup by combining 3 cups of simple syrup with 1 cup of pressed mint leaves.
  2. Blanch the mint in boiling water for 15 seconds, then place it in ice water for 1 minute.
  3. Strain the leaves from the ice water.
  4. Blend the cooled mint with the simple syrup for 1 minute.
  5. Strain again to remove any mint particles and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  6. In a tall glass, fill it with ice.
  7. Combine the rum, lime juice, mint simple syrup, maple syrup, and mint bitters in the glass.
  8. Stir well to mix all the ingredients together.
  9. Top off with a splash of club soda or seltzer.
  10. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Notes

Serve chilled and enjoy with light appetizers or festive finger foods. Best made fresh but can store mint simple syrup for up to two weeks.
