Witch’s Cauldron Cheesecake

A visually captivating cheesecake perfect for Halloween, combining creamy flavors with a chocolate crust and playful toppings.

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Green gel food coloring
  • Gummy worms and candy decorations for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Mix the chocolate graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter until fully coated.
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan firmly.
  5. Beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  6. Add sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract; beat until well combined.
  7. Mix in green gel food coloring until the desired hue is achieved.
  8. Pour the batter over the crust and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes until edges are set and center has a slight jiggle.
  10. Allow the cheesecake to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  11. Before serving, decorate with gummy worms and candy.
  12. Slice and serve.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for a smooth batter. Don’t overbeat the eggs to prevent cracks, and experiment with gel colors for a unique look.
