Blackberry Sage Iced Tea

A refreshing iced tea combining the fruity sweetness of blackberries with the aromatic notes of sage, perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Fresh Blackberries
  • 4 cups Water
  • 24 bags Black Tea (or 2 tablespoons loose-leaf tea)
  • Handful of Fresh Sage Leaves
  • Sweetener to taste (sugar, honey, or natural sweeteners like stevia)
  • Ice Cubes

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a saucepan.
  2. Steep the tea in the boiling water for about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags or strain loose-leaf tea.
  4. Muddle the blackberries and sage in a mixing bowl.
  5. Mix the muddled mixture into the steeped tea and add sweetener to taste.
  6. Cool the tea to room temperature and then refrigerate until chilled.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with blackberries or sage leaves.

Notes

For a healthier option, use sugar substitutes like stevia or monk fruit. Make larger batches for meal prep and store in a sealed pitcher.
