Caramelized Pear & Brie Snowflake Puffs

Delightful and flaky pastries filled with creamy brie and sweet caramelized pears, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
  • 100g brie, rind removed and cubed
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a clean surface and cut into snowflake shapes.
  3. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat, add the pears and brown sugar, and cook until caramelized (5-7 minutes).
  4. Place a piece of brie on each pastry shape and top with caramelized pears.
  5. Brush edges with egg wash.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For variety, you can try adding nuts, different cheeses, or fruits.
