Cool Whip Candy

A delightful, lighter candy treat made with Cool Whip and white chocolate, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 ounces white chocolate chips (about 4 cups)
  • 8 ounces thawed Cool Whip
  • 2 tablespoons red and green sprinkles, plus extra for decorating
  • 1 pound vanilla almond bark

Instructions

  1. Prepare the baking dish by lining an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch dish with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the white chocolate chips in a large microwave-safe bowl, microwaving in 20-second intervals until smooth.
  3. Cool the melted chocolate for 4–5 minutes to prevent melting the Cool Whip.
  4. Combine the Cool Whip and sprinkles with the cooled chocolate, gently mixing until fully combined.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish using a spatula.
  6. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour until firm.
  7. Cut the cooled mixture into approximately 36 pieces.
  8. Melt the vanilla almond bark in another microwave-safe bowl, microwaving in 20–30-second intervals until smooth.
  9. Coat each piece of candy in the melted almond bark using two forks, letting excess drip off.
  10. Cool the candies on a wire rack until the coating hardens.
  11. Let the coated candies cool completely before transferring them to a serving dish or airtight container.

Notes

For a healthier option, substitute white chocolate chips with sugar-free chocolate chips. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
