Easy One-Pan Ground Beef & Potatoes

A quick and healthy meal featuring ground meat and potatoes, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)
  • 12 small potatoes, diced into small pieces
  • 1 can cream soup (cream of mushroom, chicken, or celery)
  • 3/4 cup milk (or a mix of sour cream and water)
  • Seasonings of choice (salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, etc.)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite blend)

Instructions

  1. Brown the meat: Start by heating a large skillet over medium heat. Add your ground meat and cook it until it’s fully browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. If there’s any excess grease, drain it off.
  2. Cook the potatoes: Toss the diced potatoes into the skillet with the meat. Stir occasionally and let them cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until they’re nice and fork-tender.
  3. Make it creamy: When your potatoes are tender, stir in the cream soup and milk (or your milk substitute). Be sure to mix everything well.
  4. Season: Sprinkle in salt, pepper, and any other seasonings you love. Adjust the flavors to your liking!
  5. Add cheese & serve: Top it all off with a generous sprinkle of shredded cheese. Cover the skillet until the cheese is melted and gooey. Enjoy warm!

Notes

Pair with a fresh side salad or steamed vegetables to enhance the meal’s nutritional value.
