Golden Milk Iced Latte

A refreshing and healthy drink combining the benefits of turmeric and ginger with the chill of an iced latte.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
  • Pinch Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup (to taste)
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Whisk the ingredients in a small saucepan: Combine milk, turmeric, ginger, black pepper, and cinnamon.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat until warm, stirring occasionally.
  3. Sweeten by adding honey or maple syrup to taste, whisking to combine.
  4. Cool the mixture for a few minutes to avoid melting the ice too quickly.
  5. Pour the cooled mixture over a glass filled with ice.
  6. Serve immediately, optionally garnishing with cinnamon.

Notes

Make this drink dairy-free by using any non-dairy milk. Store unused golden milk mixture in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
