Jalapeño Paloma Mocktail

A refreshing, healthy twist on a classic cocktail, this Jalapeño Paloma Mocktail combines the spicy heat of jalapeño with the zesty flavors of grapefruit and lime.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slices of Jalapeño
  • 1 tablespoon of Agave Syrup
  • Pinch of Sea Salt
  • 4 ounces of Fresh Grapefruit Juice
  • 1 tablespoon of Fresh Lime Juice
  • 2 ounces of Club Soda
  • Garnish: Slice of grapefruit and slice of jalapeño

Instructions

  1. Muddle the Jalapeño: In your highball glass, add 1 to 2 slices of jalapeño along with 1 tablespoon of agave syrup. Using a muddler, gently press and twist the jalapeño slices to release their spicy oils.
  2. Add Sea Salt: Once the jalapeño is muddled, add a pinch of sea salt directly into the glass.
  3. Fill with Ice: Next, fill the glass with ice to the brim.
  4. Pour in Citrus Juices: Now, pour in the fresh grapefruit juice and lime juice.
  5. Top with Club Soda: Fill the rest of the glass with club soda.
  6. Garnish: Finish off your mocktail by garnishing it with a slice of grapefruit and a slice of jalapeño on the rim of the glass.

Notes

Adjust spice levels to personal preference and feel free to substitute grapefruit juice with other citrus juices.
