Lavender Honey Oat Latte

A delightful drink that combines the rich flavors of coffee with soothing lavender and a touch of sweetness from honey, perfect for busy mornings.

  • 1 cup unsweetened oat milk
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee or 2 shots espresso
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender buds
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Ice cubes (for iced version)
  • Extra honey drizzle for topping
  • Fresh lavender sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brew strong coffee or pull 2 shots of espresso.
  2. In a small saucepan, gently warm 1/2 cup of oat milk over medium heat (don’t boil).
  3. Add dried lavender buds to the warm oat milk and steep for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove lavender buds.
  5. Add honey and vanilla extract to the lavender-oat milk mixture, stir until honey dissolves.
  6. Froth the remaining 1/2 cup of oat milk using a milk frother or by whisking vigorously.
  7. Pour the hot brewed coffee into your serving mug.
  8. Gently pour the warm lavender-honey oat milk over the coffee.
  9. Top with a layer of frothed oat milk.
  10. Drizzle with honey and garnish with a fresh lavender sprig. Serve immediately.

Notes

This Lavender Honey Oat Latte can be enjoyed warm or iced. For an even healthier serving option, consider adding a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
