Lavender Strawberry Lemonade

A refreshing and healthy drink combining strawberries, lemons, and lavender for a unique summer beverage.

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Water
  • 1/4 Cup Dried Culinary Lavender
  • 3/4 Cup Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 Cup Strawberry Puree
  • 1/3 Cup Honey or Maple Syrup
  • Ice
  • Sliced Strawberries for Garnish

Instructions

  1. Infuse Lavender in Water: Start by boiling 4 cups of water in a saucepan. Once it’s boiling, add 1/4 cup of dried culinary lavender. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
  2. Strain the Lavender Infusion: After simmering, remove the saucepan from heat and strain the lavender water using a fine-mesh strainer.
  3. Mix with Lemon Juice and Strawberry Puree: In the same bowl or pitcher, add 3/4 cup of fresh lemon juice and 1/2 cup of strawberry puree to the strained lavender water.
  4. Sweeten with Honey or Maple Syrup: Next, add 1/3 cup of honey or maple syrup to the mixture, stirring until fully dissolved.
  5. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the lemonade for at least an hour. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice and pour the lemonade over the ice, garnishing with sliced strawberries.

Notes

For meal prep, store in the refrigerator for up to a week. Adjust sweetness to taste.
