Lemonade with Simple Syrup

A refreshing and healthier lemonade recipe using simple syrup, perfect for hot days and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 Cups Simple Syrup
  • 6 Cups Cold Water
  • 1 Cup Ice
  • Mint Leaves (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Make the Simple Syrup by dissolving equal parts sugar and water on the stove.
  2. Juice ripe lemons using a juice squeezer to extract 3 cups of fresh lemon juice.
  3. Combine the fresh lemon juice, 6 cups of cold water, 2 cups of simple syrup, and 1 cup of ice in a mixing pitcher.
  4. Serve the lemonade chilled in glasses, optionally garnishing with mint leaves.
  5. Mint-Infused Lemonade: add mint leaves into your pitcher before serving for flavor infusion.

Notes

Can substitute sugar with a sugar substitute for a diabetic-friendly version. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
