Matcha Oat Milk Latte Supreme

A delightful and healthy beverage that combines the vibrant flavor of matcha with creamy oat milk, perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 teaspoons ceremonial grade matcha powder
  • 3 tablespoons hot water (about 160-170°F)
  • 1 cup unsweetened oat milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Ice cubes (for iced version)
  • Extra matcha powder for dusting
  • Optional: whipped oat cream

Instructions

  1. Sift the matcha powder into a small bowl to remove lumps.
  2. Pour hot water into the bowl with matcha.
  3. Using a bamboo whisk, whisk in an M or W motion until the matcha is completely dissolved and frothy.
  4. In a separate saucepan, gently warm the oat milk over medium heat (don’t boil).
  5. Froth the warm oat milk using a milk frother or by whisking vigorously.
  6. Stir honey and vanilla extract into the matcha mixture.
  7. Pour the matcha mixture into your serving cup.
  8. Gently pour the frothed oat milk over the matcha, holding back the foam with a spoon.
  9. Top with a layer of matcha foam.
  10. Dust lightly with extra matcha powder and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, drink fresh. When storing, give the drink a shake before serving to mix any separated ingredients.
