Peach Lemonade

A refreshing and healthy peach lemonade that’s perfect for summer, combining natural sweetness from peaches with the tartness of lemon.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (or natural sweetener like honey)
  • ½ cup water (for syrup)
  • 3 cups cold water (for lemonade)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • ¾ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the peach syrup: In a saucepan, combine the sliced peaches, sugar, ½ cup of water, and lemon zest. Simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  2. Strain the syrup: Remove from heat and strain using a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl. Allow to cool.
  3. Mix the lemonade: Combine the cooled peach syrup with ¾ cup of lemon juice and 3 cups of cold water in a large pitcher. Stir well.
  4. Serve the lemonade: Pour over ice in glasses. Garnish with fresh mint and peach slices if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

This peach lemonade can be made in batches and stored in the fridge for up to a week. Use natural sweeteners for a diabetic-friendly version, and feel free to experiment with flavors by adding berries.
