Pineapple Brown Sugar Mississippi Little Smokies Bites

Quick and delicious snack featuring protein-rich Little Smokies in a sweet pineapple glaze, perfect for gatherings or meal prep.

  • 2 packages (14 oz each) Lil’ Smokies sausages
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne until smooth and well combined.
  2. Add the Lil’ Smokies sausages to your slow cooker and pour the pineapple glaze over them. Gently stir to coat evenly.
  3. Toss in the pineapple chunks, spreading them throughout the sausages.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 240 minutes or HIGH for 120 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve warm with toothpicks for easy snacking.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or frozen for longer storage.
