Rosewater Pistachio Milk

A refreshing and healthy drink made with pistachios and rosewater, perfect for meal prep and a lighter alternative to traditional milkshakes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk or oat milk
  • 1/2 cup raw or roasted pistachios
  • 2 tablespoons rosewater
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey or agave
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of cardamom powder (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Ice cubes
  • Pistachio dust for garnish
  • Rose petals for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pistachios: Place the pistachios in a blender with 1/2 cup of the milk.
  2. Blend: Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Mix the remaining ingredients: Add the remaining 1.5 cups of milk, rosewater, honey, and vanilla extract to the blender.
  4. Blend again until well combined and frothy.
  5. Strain (optional): Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a serving pitcher.
  6. Season: Add cardamom powder and sea salt, then stir gently.
  7. Assemble: Fill glasses with ice cubes.
  8. Pour: Pour the rosewater pistachio milk into the glasses.
  9. Garnish: Top each glass with light pistachio dust and rose petals.
  10. Serve: Enjoy immediately, and remember to stir before drinking.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute honey with a natural sweetener like stevia or monk fruit. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
