Instructions

  1. Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and nutmeg until combined.
  2. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients: Add pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until smooth.
  4. Mix Dry and Wet Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Chill the Dough: Cover and chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
