Spicy Mockarita

A refreshing and zesty mocktail that combines fresh lime and orange juices with a kick of jalapeño, perfect for a healthy and delicious drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz fresh orange juice
  • 1 oz jalapeño simple syrup
  • 34 oz lime sparkling water
  • Tajín, for rimming the glass
  • Ice, as needed
  • Lime wedge and jalapeño slice, for garnish
  • ½ cup water (for simple syrup)
  • ½ cup sugar (for simple syrup)
  • 1 small jalapeño, sliced

Instructions

  1. Make the jalapeño simple syrup: Combine ½ cup water and ½ cup sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stir until dissolved, add jalapeño, simmer, cool, and strain.
  2. Prepare your glass by moistening the rim with a lime wedge and dipping it in Tajín.
  3. Mix in a cocktail shaker: 1 oz of fresh lime juice, 2 oz of fresh orange juice, and 1 oz of jalapeño syrup. Fill with ice and shake for 15 seconds.
  4. Add ice to the prepared glass, strain the mixture, and top with 3-4 oz of lime sparkling water.
  5. Garnish with a lime wedge and a slice of jalapeño. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Adjust the spice level to your preference by modifying the amount of jalapeño used.
