Summer Lime Cooler

A refreshing and healthy beverage featuring zesty lime, aromatic herbs, and a hint of sweetness, perfect for summer hydration and weight loss.

  • 1 stalk of Lemongrass
  • 1 cup Thai Basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Mint leaves
  • 2 Kaffir Lime Leaves
  • 1 cup Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1/4 cup Super Fine Sugar (or Honey)
  • Crushed or Shaved Ice
  • 1 cup Tonic Water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the lemongrass by cooking it at 300°F for 20 minutes.
  2. Chop the cooked lemongrass after cutting 2 inches from the stout end and 1 inch from the slender end.
  3. Blend the chopped lemongrass, Thai basil, mint leaves, kaffir lime leaf, lime juice, and super fine sugar until fully combined.
  4. Let the mixture sit for at least 20 minutes to infuse flavors.
  5. Blend again briefly to ensure all ingredients are well combined.
  6. Combine the mixture with tonic water in a large bowl or pitcher.
  7. Strain the mixture using a fine sieve to remove fibrous bits.
  8. Serve over ice in cocktail glasses.

Notes

Adjust sweetness to taste with additional sugar or honey. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
