Chocolate Avocado Bean Brownies

A healthy twist on traditional brownies, made with black beans and avocado for added nutrition and flavor.

  • 1 can Black Beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 ripe Avocado
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
  • Sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or low-calorie option, to taste)
  • Baking Powder (optional)
  • Salt (pinch)
  • Water or Coconut Milk (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the black beans by rinsing and draining them.
  3. Blend the black beans, avocado, cocoa powder, and sweetener in a food processor until smooth.
  4. Mix any dry ingredients in a bowl, such as baking powder and salt.
  5. Combine the black bean mixture with the dry ingredients until fully blended.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased or parchment-lined baking pan.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

These brownies can be customized with nuts, seeds, or flavored extracts. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or freeze for later.
