Watermelon Cooler

A refreshing, low-calorie drink made from fresh watermelon and lemon juice, perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

  • 550g (1lb 4oz) Watermelon, peeled, seeds removed, and chopped
  • Juice of 1/4 Lemon
  • Fresh Mint Leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the watermelon by washing and chopping it, removing the rind and seeds.
  2. Mash the watermelon until pulpy using a potato masher or fork.
  3. Add lemon juice and stir well to combine.
  4. Strain the mixture into a jug using a sieve, pressing the pulp to extract juice.
  5. Serve in glasses filled with ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

You can store leftover watermelon juice in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days. Try adding other fruits for variations.
