Watermelon Feta Fresh Water

A refreshing and light drink that combines sweet watermelon and tangy feta cheese, perfect for summer hydration.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh watermelon, cubed
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons honey or agave
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro or mint leaves
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • Ice cubes
  • 2 tablespoons coconut water (optional)
  • Watermelon wedges and feta crumbles for garnish
  • Tajín seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut fresh watermelon into cubes, removing all seeds.
  2. Place watermelon cubes in a blender with 1/2 cup filtered water.
  3. Add cilantro or mint leaves to the blender.
  4. Blend until completely smooth with no chunks.
  5. Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher, pressing gently to extract all liquid.
  6. Add the remaining 1.5 cups filtered water to the pitcher.
  7. Squeeze fresh lime juice into the pitcher.
  8. Add honey and stir well until dissolved.
  9. Gently fold in crumbled feta cheese.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Fill glasses with ice, pour, and garnish with feta crumbles and mint. Serve immediately.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Best enjoyed fresh.
