White Hot Chocolate

A creamy and delightful white hot chocolate that’s a healthier alternative to traditional hot chocolate, perfect for chilly days.

  • 3 1/2 cups Whole Milk
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 1/2 cups White Chocolate Chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • Whipped Cream (Optional)
  • Marshmallows (for garnish)
  • Sprinkles (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Combine Milk and Cream: In a medium-sized saucepan, pour in the whole milk and heavy cream. Place it over medium heat. Stir occasionally to mix well.
  2. Melt the Chocolate Chips: Once the milk mixture starts to heat, add the white chocolate chips. Stir continuously to melt.
  3. Add Salt and Vanilla: When the chocolate has melted, lower the heat and add salt and vanilla extract. Stir until fully mixed.
  4. Serve: Pour the hot white chocolate into cups. Simmer for an additional minute for a thicker drink, if desired.
  5. Garnish: Top with whipped cream, marshmallows, and colorful sprinkles if desired.

Notes

For a lighter option, consider using almond or oat milk. This recipe is suitable for meal prep and can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
