Grilled Peach and Thyme Iced Tea

A refreshing summer drink combining grilled peaches and thyme with iced tea, perfect for weight loss and diabetic-friendly diets.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tea bags (black tea or your preference)
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Fresh thyme sprigs
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Grill the peach halves cut side down for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Boil the water in a pot.
  4. Steep tea bags and add sugar to the hot water for 5 minutes.
  5. Add grilled peaches and thyme to the tea.
  6. Strain the tea to remove peaches and thyme.
  7. Serve over ice and enjoy!

Notes

This iced tea can be made in large batches and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week. Feel free to experiment with fruits or tea types.
